GIVEAWAY: KISS MY KURLS #Naturalhair Tank

Hello Kurlees! If you've been following our blog, you know that we attended the World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta, Ga last week and debuted our newest natural hair self expression t-shirt and tank. Everyone was blown away by the sassinesss, attitude and sarcasm of new tee "Kiss My Kurls". In fact, purchasers of the tee have already reported incidents in which males asked to Kiss their Kurls!!!!

This t-shirt is definitely a conversational piece! We want you to have as much fun as we're having with the new tee and decided to GIVE IT AWAY!

DEETS!
  1. Subscribe below to our blog
  2. Like our Facebook page
  3. Leave a comment below (on the blog) of the most OUTRAGEOUS thing/comment that someone has ever said about your natural hair! We will then post your comment to our Facebook page and our fans will vote for the funniest and most outrageous comment. The comment with the most "LIKES" WINS!
Contest starts now and ends May 17th, 2012!

Let the storytelling begin! ( I am super excited to hear your funny stories.) Check out our "How They Rocked It" Page to see other ladies that have purchased our tees and tanks!

All tanks are ribbed and longer length....this means your thong or butt crack will not be shown to the world when you sit down....*fashion faux pas* to the 5000! Since I am a member of the big butt club...longer length tops are a prerequisite!

  1. My mother, upon seeing me for the first time after my BC: "You know that's never going to grow back, right? Time to start investing in some pretty scarves."

  2. Even though she was the one who did my BC, my baby sister called me Lester Jenkins for the following two months. I constantly had to endure her Washington Redskins taunts and jokes. Looking back now, I'd gladly pay that price again if it means I continue to get the "girl your hair is the bomb" hi-fives!

  3. Ok I was in a group of people and two of us are natural but my hair was blown out and big, so someone decides to use me as an example and calls me nappy head

  9. When I first decided to go natural, I told my close friends and family. Most of my friends were supportive/inquisitive. My mom and dad were cool but hesitant. My grandmother looked at me and asked "why would you want to do something like that?" I was floored. My field can be a bit conservative so my family "claims" they were concerned about how I would style it. Now everyone loves it but they definitely didn't like the idea at first.

  10. Now that my hair is past the TWA stage and has a little hang, a three year old (white with blonde hair) boy whom I work with asks me all the time "why does your hair look crazy?". The first few times he stopped me in my tracks but I have learned a politically response: "everyone's hair grows differently, yours is straight and mine is curly, not crazy"

  11. The comment that threw me for a loop was when my guy friend said he approves of my natural hair because it may decrease my hottness. It is not as sexy as flowing hair. Wow.

  14. Some random chick told me via Facebook that i was an ugly lil boy with a fade. I'm no where near ugly and as far as a fade she was referring to my profile pic in which I was rocking my Twa.

  15. This guy once said to me, "Your hair has ENERGY." At first I just asked, "What do you mean?" It sounded psychedelic. He replied, "Any thing that defies gravity, that doesn't lie flat, has ENERGY. It reaches toward the sun rather than toward the earth. It's beautiful." And ever since then I've had another reason to be proud of my 'gravity-defying' hair :)

  17. I tagged along with my aunt to take my grandma to the beauty salon for her birthday. While in the salon a conversation some how began about how I wasn't getting perms any more and how I was going natural(I was still transitioning at this point). My grandma said "Why you wanna go natural? Your hair is curly." I said "Yeah, grandma natural hair usually is curly". She responded back with "Yeah, but your hair is unnaturally curly."
